Create Assemblies

Acctivate version 12.3 includes an improved and transparent process for reviewing and creating assembly sessions in bulk.

The new process leverages the Inventory Manager, which features a Restocking bar that provides an at-a-glance view of products needing to be assembled based on current stock levels, user defined minimum stock levels, and demand.

From this view in the Inventory Manager, simply select the products which you’d like to review for assembly and use the Create Assemblies action to load them into the Create Assemblies window. Once loaded into the Create Assemblies window, the suggested build quantity formula is clearly displayed, making it easy to understand the reasoning behind each assembly task.

Key Improvements

  • Focus on what matters – With the new process, you can quickly locate which products need to be assembled and load them into the Create Assemblies window. Then, you may wish to load other assembly products which may not need to be built yet, but would benefit from being included.
  • Easier to work with multi-level assemblies – The inventory manager window tells you which products may be components of other assemblies. By creating assembly sessions for the top level products first, demand will trickle down to the sub-assemblies and you’ll ensure that you’re building enough the first time.
  • Transparency – You new Create Assembly window provides clarity on how a suggested build quantity is being generated.
