We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join the Acctivate Team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with small business clients by providing fantastic customer service and communicating responses to customer questions.
Job Description
- Provide direct email, phone and remote desktop support for Acctivate users
- Publish knowledge base articles for common inquiries
- Create and manage incoming support tickets from Acctivate users
Qualifications
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must be organized and detail-oriented
- Must have a passion to help small business customers succeed
- Experience working with customers in a fast paced environment is a plus
- Experience working for and/or with small businesses is a plus
Software Support Specialist
We are looking for a technical support team member. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with small business clients and solving complex technical problems.
- This is an entry-level position, but we promote from within and our team includes many UTA graduates
- We will work with your school schedule; however the ability to work during normal business hours is important
- We will train the right candidate
Job Description
- Provide direct email, phone and remote desktop support for Acctivate users
- Publish knowledge base articles for common inquiries
- Participate in the Acctivate Community forum
- Assist clients with Microsoft SQL Server installation and maintenance
- Write complex database scripts using Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL)
- Document bugs and enhancement requests for our development team
Qualifications
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must be organized and detail-oriented
- Must have a passion to help small business customers succeed
- Experience with small business accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Experience with SAP Crystal Reports or a business report writing utility is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server is a plus
- Experience working for and/or with small businesses is a plus

What You Will Be Doing
Your primary role as a Sales Development Representative is to source new prospects and reach out to them to book appointments for product demonstrations. The SDR is responsible for clearly communicating Acctivate’s value propositions to prospects and learning about their needs to see if there is a good fit. Other duties include documenting progress and events, reporting progress and results to management, providing feedback to the marketing team regarding quality of marketing-sourced leads, attending industry trade shows and conferences, and providing support to Account Executive team as needed.
What You Need for This Position
- Bachelor’s degree or actively working to obtain
- Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results
- Able to think strategically and tactically. Able to maintain a positive attitude in the face of criticism, rejection, or failure
- In-depth experience collaborating with and leading cross-functional teams (product management, customer success, sales, marketing, etc.)
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must have passion to work with customers and a desire to help
- Must have a passion to work with software and technology
- Familiarity with general business procedures and experience working for and with small businesses
- Accounting knowledge and experience with small business accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
