Efficient and Transparent Reordering

Create Reorders

Acctivate version 12.3 includes an improved and transparent process for reviewing and reorder products in bulk.

The new reorders process leverages the Inventory Manager, which features a Restocking bar that provides an at-a-glance view of products needing to be reordered based on current stock levels, user defined minimum stock levels, and demand.

From this view in the Inventory Manager, simply select the products which you’d like to review for reorder and use the Create Reorders action to load them into the Create Reorders window. Unlike its predecessor, Create Reorders allows you to select both inventoried and non-inventoried products, even if they don’t yet meet reordering criteria.

Once in the Create Reorders window, you can group and sort products, select PO vendors, enter Vendor Product IDs, PO prices, and units, and review how the suggested reorder quantity is calculated.

Once you’ve reviewed the products and made changes you can bulk-creating Purchase Orders.

Key Improvements

  • Flexible product selection – The previous Reorders window only allowed reordering inventoried products that needed to reordered. The Create Reorders window allows users to select non-inventoried products and inventoried products that don’t have a suggested reorder quantity. This makes it easier to review all your products in one location.
  • Better vendor choices – You’re no longer limited to only selected vendors you’ve purchased the product from in the past.
  • Multi field grouping – Group by fields like the vendor or warehouse, or group by multiple fields for more a precise review before creating POs.
  • Transparency – You no longer have to guess why a certain reorder quantity is being suggested. The reorder calculation is clearly displayed giving you the visibility you need to make informed reorder decisions.
