ShipStation, Shopify, and WooCommerce improvements

Version 14 Service Pack 3 delivers new configuration options and improvements to Acctivate’s ShipStation, Shopify and WooCommerce web store integrations.

ShipStation, Shopify, and WooCommerce Web Order Number mapping

Companies can now simplify how they identify and locate web orders in Acctivate by mapping the ShipStation, Shopify, and WooCommerce web order number fields to various Acctivate order fields. The Web Order Number can be mapped to the following Acctivate sales order fields:

  • Acctivate Sales Order Number
  • PO number
  • Reference
  • Reference 2
  • Job (Shopify only)

You can configure this mapping in the Shopify and WooCommerce connector settings using the new Order Mapping tab.

In the ShipStation configuration screen, an Order Number field has been added to the Mapping tab, allowing you to map the ShipStation web order number to the Acctivate order number field.

Shopify custom field mapping

The Acctivate Shopify integration takes configurable mapping options to the next level.

Custom sales order fields defined in Shopify can now be mapped to both standard and custom fields in Acctivate.

This provides greater control over the information you import and where it’s stored.

Shopify B2B Companies support

Another exciting feature is Acctivate’s support for Shopify B2B companies.

When Shopify’s B2B features are enabled, customers can be associated with a Shopify Company, and those customers can place orders on behalf of that company.

When Acctivate imports these orders, the B2B company will be used as the customer, and the purchaser will be added as the contact on the sales order, rather than being created as an individual customer.

Best of all, no configuration is required. If an order is associated with a Shopify Company, that company will automatically be used as the customer in Acctivate.

ShipStation customer names per store

Acctivate’s ability to import sales orders from ShipStation allows you to automate sales order entry from web stores that Acctivate doesn’t directly integrate with.

A new option has been added to make it easier to manage sales orders based on the store they originated from. The “Use store name as customer name” option allows orders to be imported under a single customer that corresponds to the originating store.

For example, orders imported from the ShipStation Amazon store will be created in Acctivate under a customer named “Amazon.” This provides more detailed and organized handling of orders imported from ShipStation.
