Inventory Manager, Create Reorders, and Create Assemblies

The Inventory Manager, Create Reorders, and Create Assemblies work in concert together to help you easily manage and maintain sufficient inventory levels with transparency every step of the way.

Inventory Manager

The Inventory Manager offers a new, intuitive way to manage your inventory. Like the Sales Order Manager, Purchase Order Manager, and Business Activity Manager, the Inventory Manager lets you quickly view products and their inventory levels using either default or customizable Bars and Buttons for quick access to essential information.

With the Inventory Manager, you can perform bulk actions such as creating Purchase Orders, initiating Assemblies, updating product statuses, printing, and more.

Create Reorders

The Inventory Manager features a Restocking bar that provides an at-a-glance view of products needing reordering.

To start the reorder process, select the Restocking bar in the Inventory Manager and click the Reorder button. This displays all products needing restocking based on their current levels. After selecting the products to reorder, use the Create Reorders action to load them into the Create Reorders window.

Unlike its predecessor, Create Reorders allows you to select both inventoried and non-inventoried products, even if they don’t yet meet reordering criteria. Once in the Create Reorders window, you can group and sort products, select PO vendors, enter Vendor Product IDs, PO prices, and units, and review the formula used to calculate reorder quantities before bulk-creating POs.

Create Assemblies

The Create Assemblies process is just as straightforward. In the Inventory Manager, the Restocking bar also highlights assembly products that need to be built to maintain adequate stock levels.

To begin, select the Restocking bar and click the Build button. Choose the products for assembly and use the Create Assemblies action to load them into the Create Assemblies window, where you can sort and group products. The suggested build quantity formula is clearly displayed, making it easy to understand the reasoning behind each assembly task.

Conclusion

Together, the Inventory Manager, Create Reorders, and Create Assemblies windows ensure that you always have the inventory you need, helping your business grow while avoiding costly interruptions.
